This week on the Cooking in Sanity project I decided to make cabbage soup. Lately it’s been colder than cold outside and all I’ve wanted to do is sit by a fire with a cup of soup. I’m a huge fan of cabbage but I don’t think I’ve eaten it in a soup yet. The soup was very simple to make and featured some unique preparation tips such as crushing peppercorns and creating an herb bundle. The soup ended up tasting delicious and was perfect for a chilly winter day.
