Taste of Atlanta Oct 22

Hi Everyone!

I’m very excited because tomorrow I’m going to be a judge at the Top Chef Kids Competition at Taste of Atlanta! Taste of Atlanta is a great event where a lot of Atlanta restaurants set up booths and offer food samples. There are also different cooking demonstrations and fun activities to do with the whole family! I will be at the Family Food Zone Stage tomorrow at 3:15 p.m. Here’s a link with more information

Hope to see you there!

  1. Hi Lizzie,

I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how impressed I am with your success. We published an article about you today - check it out when you have a chance.

  2. Hi Lizzie,

When I was 12 yrs. old I used to cook for my family of 8 siblings, a grandmother and my mom and dad. My grandmother taught me to make oxtail stew - it was very inexpensive back in the 60's and we had it quite often. It was very similiar to your recipe except I would use potatoes instead of the cabbage and I would sear the meat after dusting it with flour. That helped to make a thicker base to the stew. I wish that oxtail wasn't so expensive now because it really did taste pretty good. Keep on loving what you do - it will bring you to a wonderful place in life.

  5. Today, in our class we read an article about you in the Time For Kids magazine. The kids were so excited so we went to your website. They are going to take your AB & J recipe home and try it out. Thee kids really couldn't believe how much you have accomplished at such a young age. What a great role model! Thanks for the great tips!
